Our lush, natural grass playground is designed to inspire your child’s outdoor adventures. With several shaded play areas, your little one can explore and play throughout the day, even when the tropical weather surprises us with rain. Our expansive play area is the perfect canvas for your child’s imagination to run wild.

Led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, our program nurtures each child’s confidence, independence, and curiosity through real-world learning opportunities.

We’ve recently updated our daily rhythm to include three key learning blocks:

Fine Motor & Sensory Exploration
Children begin their day with engaging activities like art, craft, and sensory play that strengthen fine motor skills and spark creativity.

Focused Learning Time
This is when we dive into deeper concepts – including early numeracy, literacy, writing, and foundational skills that support school readiness.

Movement & Gross Motor Play
After a full day of learning, children enjoy physical activity, games, and outdoor exploration that help build strength, coordination and energy regulation.

In Terms 3 and 4, we introduce Arden’s Transition to School – a dedicated focus on preparing children for the routines, expectations, and independence required in Prep. This includes:

• Moving away from scheduled rest time (unless requested by the child)
• “No hat, no play” to encourage responsibility and care for personal belongings
• Morning brain snacks to support focus and self-regulation
• Wearing shoes and socks throughout most of the day
• Encouraging families to dress children in the same outfit on specific days to help them adjust to wearing a school uniform

These small but significant steps help children build the confidence and independence needed for a successful transition to school.

Each morning, our Kindergarten children begin the day with a child-led Acknowledgment of Country, honouring the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Ngaro and Gia (or Giya) people. This simple yet powerful ritual helps children connect with Country, culture, and community, while developing respect, gratitude, and a strong sense of belonging.
