Outdoor Spaces

Unlimited adventure, whatever the weather

You simply cannot go past our outdoor play space without having a play. Equipped with slides, vegetable gardens and lush, natural grass, it's been designed to let children explore, connect and let their imaginations run wild.

Several shaded play areas mean your little one can keep exploring throughout the day, even when the tropical weather surprises us with rain.

A Kindergarten Program With Purpose

A day in our Kindergarten room

Led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, our daily rhythm moves through three learning blocks that make the most of every environment on site.

Fine Motor and Sensory Exploration at Arden Early Learning Airlie Beach 1

Fine Motor & Sensory Exploration

The day begins with art, craft and sensory play that builds fine motor skills and sparks creativity.

Focused Learning Time at Arden Early Learning Airlie Beach 2

Focused Learning Time

Deeper concepts follow — early numeracy, literacy, writing and the foundations of school readiness.

Movement and Gross Motor Play at Arden Early Learning Airlie Beach 3

Movement & Gross Motor Play

The day winds down with physical play and outdoor exploration that builds strength and coordination.

Arden's Transition to School Program

In Terms 3 and 4, our Transition to School focus prepares children for the routines and independence of Prep — moving away from scheduled rest time, a "no hat, no play" rule, morning brain snacks, wearing shoes and socks through the day, and matching-outfit days to help children adjust to a school uniform.

Daily Acknowledgment of Country

Each morning, our Kindergarten children lead their own Acknowledgment of Country, honouring the Ngaro and Giya people as Traditional Custodians of the land — a simple ritual that grows respect, gratitude and a strong sense of belonging.

Magical Beginnings

Every child's early years should begin with warmth, wonder and connection. Magical Beginnings is our heart-led approach to helping children and families feel safe, supported and seen from their very first day, through meaningful rituals and familiar routines.

"There are no seven wonders of the world in the eye of a child. There are seven million."

— Walt Streightiff
